so yesterday was canada's "indecision" 2004 (hahah i love jon stewart). thursday, is canada day! aren't we just all feeling that inner maple leaf coming to the surface!? okay maybe not...

first time voting experience. i must say it was a let down. hahaha i went in there with HIGH HIGH expectations, and it turned out to be "put an x in the circle beside the person you're voting for"... i mean, thats just way too simplistic! after the whole u.s. florida fiasco, i figured the ballots would have been a lil more complicated in order for them to screw it up that badly... i guess us canadians just are smarter (oh..there's my national pride coming to my surface hehe)

canada day...not as important to me...but just as important because it is a holiday. so its gonna feel like a 3 day week...followed by a friday where i will try to basically do nothing the whole day but listen to music, read blogs, surf the net... etc!

so yesterday was the first time i attended a practice wedding! well the first one i actually am old enough to remember...cuz i know i was ringbearer back in the day...but yea no recollection of it at all!

didnt actually get to stay around to watch cuz us musicians had to practice, but we seem to have the pieces down! we'll find out tomorow bright and early wont we?!

oh but i was around when the best part of the rehersal wedding took place. the rehersal DINNER! its like...they give u the friggin feast...only you dont hafta be all dressed up and all! it doesnt get much better than that! oh i got seated at a table where i knew only 3 of the..11 ppl...so that was fun just to get to know a lil bit about some other ppl.

congradulations to sam tho! ... early congradulations i mean! i guess this makes up for all the stuff u potentially missed out at the outlet mall...hahahaa :) long story... but not as random as some stories last nite that were told about...sam and... kats cousin!!

oh...did i mention that its FRIDAY!? another week of work, meaning another week of "hard earned" money! next week, the supervisor is off...that will be a very chillaxed week!!!

while i'm at it (yes i am at work...getting paid to do this post...haha) lets discuss my supervisor! she's pretty nice person, tends to "baby" people a little bit when it comes to technology (ie. DOUBLE CLICK THE ICON...then go to the FILE menu..and press NEW...)
but i've had no problems with her at all...and because i worked good last week for the fda inspection, i got taken out to lunch today at shoeless joes! and since they have 2 for 1 wings on tuesdays, next year, i think me and my housemates will be there every tuesday! hahaa :)

seems like southeast asia is the place to be these days! yes, mr.hip hop guru is there himself..has been there for ... almost 2 weeks now i think. and now its time for ny's very own chinese christian celebrity to head over...for 2 months!!! BAH! we need new euchre players!!! should be all good with some high schoolers and some high schoolers that just graduated finishing off their school year.

congradulations to all those that finished. may i remind you that i finished in april! but seriously...well i have nothing serious to say. sorry!

2004 mmva's - how many awards were there? like...5 total? man... compared to 9 acts on stage. well, techincally 8, and one hilary duff tape sing a long (aka lil syncing) not too many surprises. the ppl that should've won, won most of the awards.

i think i may need to be sleeping now. waking up at 5:30am is not healthy, even if i took a two hour nap right after church! goodnite everybody!

yes, reality tv looks like it smushed sitcoms forever...how else can "simple life 2" be explained.
meanwhile, sitcoms that were the norm a couple years back are all but happy memories.

my suggestion to the tv networks, on behalf of all those people out there that feel a huge void in their lives because of the lack of sitcoms (okay, so i'm speaking on behalf of myself), EMBRACE THE SITCOM! just...revamp it a lil. give it a lil edge you know.
i love arrested development. all those subtle little jokes in every scene.
but if you want to take it one step further, you get...method and red man... doing their thang... on tv!...in a white neighborhood...this is shaping up to be a QUALITY show!

i dont know how long this show will stick, but as long as its around, i will be its loyal viewer!! ahhh welcome back sitcom...! welcome back! (you know you like that)

oh i've also noticed, i seem to like black comedians a lil bit more! i dont know why! but watching last comic standing, i always think they're the funniest, other than this one guy who has a whole friggin book of cheesy one liners! but its odd...

thats the batting ratio for guys to girls in the ccsa softball league. for example, if we have 5 girls, we are allowed to have 15 guys batting. so if we go with how many girls we had at practice yesterday, that would give us a grand total of SIX guys batting. WE NEED GIRLS TO SHOW UP~!!!! bah! but the rest of our team is tight...i'm sure feeling the practice today...i really feel like NOT MOVING

but i must...because not only do i hafta 'work'...i hafta go home and vacate my room, and move all the stuff down to the guest room cuz my grandma is stopping by tuesday until..september! and not to mention, my basement is once again leaking water through crappy windows.... man so my nite will probably be spent moving stuff downstairs, followed by pumping water out of my carpet. sounds like fun dont it? oh did i mention the water isnt like clean water?! so it SMELLS TOO!!!! BAH!

PLEASE! everyday of the week, i wake up at 7:30! saturday this week, i had 8:30 worship practice, so i got to sleep in half an hour. sunday, no sleepin in at all, had to be at church by 8. !!! BAH! after one more week of sunday worship, i need to take a break. the nanaubau union is going on strike (i hope i spelled the union name right)!!! STRIKE I SAY!

then maybe i can sleep in on saturday...i'm SO TIRED!! SO TIRED!

i dont know why i didnt post this up yesterday, maybe cuz i had other things on my mind (UT suxxors, just kidding, *not kidding*) and i was pretty tired...first day in a long time that i slept before 12. cant say i'm much more refreshed right now at 8:28am, but meH, i love sleep.

okay, right. so yesterday, i got my G! barely tho mind you. passing mark was that you had to get below 30 "nono" points. i had...27! my highway driving was PERFECT, but geez, if u drive by schools/malls/grocery stores, ur supposed to pay EXTRA attention to those... so i didnt know... i just kept on going, and lost a lot of marks there multiple times!

but i could care less now! morningside was SO much easier to drive than that lawrence place i took my G2 at. the ppl at morningside actually talk to you, and make small talk, even while you're driving (i dont know if thats a good thing tho...) and plus, the highway driving consisted of me changing lanes on an empty portion of the highway, so that made it so much easier!

ne ways off to work...oh wait, i AM at work already. .. back to work!

just kidding, no more ranting about UT...but ranting about university in general maybe

kids..if you're gonna get into university, make sure u get classes in NICE lecture halls...like the theatre style...cuz if u get the ones that are like a table and a chair, its much more evident when u fall asleep in those types. whereas if you're in a theatre type thing with nice chairs, then not only is it not as evident, its also MUCH EASIER to fall asleep in those comfortable padded chairs!

and whatever you do...dont go to UT! go to Queens. you know you wanna...cmon..!
