and i did make it back in time for a good brunch..then off to downtown for Christmas Lights (50 for $2.50!) only cuz i didnt make it to that store yesterday, cuz i ended up watchin revolutions....good movie..i liked it....not all that bad!

I dont' know about you, but back in High School, i found it really hard to share my faith/views with other ppl....especially since i hung out with like one group of ppl all the time...and they have certain views on you...i dont know

but it seems like that in university, a lot more ppl are a lot more openly seeking sth....

today at lunch, i had a very good conversation with a group of ppl about their beliefs, religions..watever
ppl are just a lot more willing to ask the questions....and then actually think over ur answer rather than the cheap brushoffs or change of topics i got back in high school

Friday - finished exams....helped floor finish decorations of the wing for the decoration contest (we didnt win...we felt we got gipped cuz we worked so hard and the floor looked awesome...we even had a guillotine, and a tree...or at least parts of it..hehehe)

Saturday - to the mall!! ya....i did get the Michelle Branch cd along with 3 other cds...hehehhe, and a lil clock, cuz i only have one in my room that can only be seen if you're lyin down in my bed....and also there was a modrobes sale....everything modrobes for 15 dollars or less...so i got myself a hoodie!
I also watched 2 fast 2 furious ... not too bad of a movie....ludacris cant act...hahaha but he's got a funny look (with his fro and all).....

Sunday - thanks to the fire alarm...i slept rite thru till 12...yea...missed churchie.....so yea...i was just tired the rest of the day...went to the Grizzly Grill for dinner...very expensive...but since one of my floormates had a 25 dollar gift certificate...we all tried alligator for appetizer...alligator is GOOD....wow....very surprising for me...but yea....

Right now, I have a pretty good skedual as it stands. Today I got the bright idea of checking out my winter timetable.
It actually seemed pretty darned decent. Mondays - Thursdays, i have 8:30 - 11:30 ...then i'm done...not bad
Then I look at friday. 8:30-11:30 is class again...ok....then..11:30 - 2:30 is a ... bio lab...ok..ok....then 2:30 - 5:30 is a chem lab
WHAT! how can any human work for 9 hours straight without one friggin break

Fellowship tonite - bible study/discussion....i like the discussions in my cell group....a lot of very good critical thinkers makes good discussion...! so it was good! we talked about discerning God's will for our everyday lives...and what we are doing today that will last forever

Right after fellowship, i met up with a couple of floormates who finally managed to convince me that i needed to go to the PEC with them....so i went....good old 40 minutes of cardio...i really shouldnt' work out at 11pm at nite...but MEH...! i needed it...after eating like....two different deserts tonite....

done...finished...think i did ok....i guess i'll find out later!

11:30am today....first exam of my university career....programming exam

After a nerve wracking, brain crushing, palm sweating, heart racing, panick stricken FIVE MINUTES...i was done.....what the gip!! it was one question long (all 10 questions were already given out before the exam), and i actually got the question i was most comfortable with...oh wow....13 lines of code on paper....all done! early lunch! then i went to town to finally hand in my credit card application (crossing fingers that they'll accept me!)

so what to do now?? study for...another exam tomorow (6 questions this time)....or maybe the one on thursday (33 questions...much tougher)...! hmmm....well no tv distractions for me tonite at least.....!

if you ever wanna know where my res is, yup, thats all you gota do....so another one tonite at around 10:30....but then they didnt let us back in for 1 and a half hours, so i ended up going to another res to just hang out.....so count goes up to 6.....

My tummy kinda hurts...hahahah...if you know you're gonna go to a chilli fest, DONT GO TO BRUNCH RITE BEFORE.
Big mistake on my part....and the brunch was so good..i ate an omlette and a grilled cheese sandwich...so full..then went straight to the chili fest, held in...confederation park, better known as the park that ryan malcolm sang in! So there were 26 chili stands we could try for a low low fee of 7 bucks, too bad i was so full, and half of the chili tasted like...crap...! CMON...U DONT PUT MAPLE SYRUP IN YOUR CHILI....so creme brule....geez...and it started raining...oh well....

on top of all that, tried to go to scotiabank to submit credit card application, only to find out the stupid branch is closed on saturdays and sundays....BLAH....

oh i apparntly missed a fire alarm last nite at around 9....so since it didnt really affect me, my count will not go up

So i went to fellowship tonite...we were put into cell groups..i am in cell group "Caritas"...apprantly its latin for love! So ya...i know a couple ppl in that group, so its good.

But what i'm noticing more and more is that I really miss my little "group" of friends that i could just hang out with whenever ( like if i wanted to jam, or if i wanted to play n64, or if i wanted to watch the mtv awards...) stuff like that....cuz a lot of the ppl here at queens seem to have established groups that they hang out with....either from their high schools or from their own churches...meanwhile, its like me and my roomate...kinda lookin like losers...but we dont really know ne one... but i'm still very grateful for the ppl that i have met and have been super duper nice to me...but its just not the same i guess

Wow...i Cant wait until i can hear the cd all the way thru....WOW....

but i cant believe tv decided to put friends and survivor on at the SAME TIME...yea sure thats a good thing to do...divide viewing audience..ya dummies....oh well..so i ended up watching friends...and somebody on the floor taped survivor which i will watch sometime later!

Today was NOT a good day....not that the quiz was too hard or ne thing, but just that it was the first evaluation i received from this university, and i had to walk into it half awake and with a splitting headache. So out of the two questions, I think i may have messed up the second one...oh well...thank goodness for the dropping of the lowest 3 quizzes....

why so tired? i have no idea...i woke up at 7:30....maybe thats why...but i took TWO naps today .... once before lunch and once before dinner..and they were good naps...but darn...still had the headache...tylenol still hasnt kicked in yet...stupid non-efficient drugs....

on top of all that...there's no good TV to watch tonite...(Bachelor, Big Brother....dont know why i never watched them...) hmm...dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing....

but tomorow nite...oh boy....friends...and survivor....doesnt get much better than that~!

Just got back from a Unix tutorial...if you don't know what unix is....then join the club...cuz neither do i....and after an hour..i still dont know....most interesting part of tutorial as follows:

Student: Is there any way to kill other people's print jobs?
TA : No...
Student: What if I have root access?
TA : Then you can kill anything you want...anything

I dont know...thats the only part i actually remember...and it was only funny cuz the student was sleeping the whole way thru until he heard the word "kill"...oh actually i remember one more thing..theres a command called : "foobar"...hahahha

There was a carrer fair today....buncha companies set up shop inside on of the campuses open spaces and students go around looking for info....or if you're like me...you go looking for free stuff...like...2 flashlight keychains....4 pens....2 stress balls....2 packages of mints...a whilstle....a lanyard....and one of those super tiny highlighters...!

kingston may only have one bubble tea shop...but who cares....u get a large bubble tea for 3 bucks...its so sweet....of course you can only choose from two flavors...cuz its the special deal....but Peach was one of them...so it was a win win situation....yummy....

everybody loves raymond season premier: how i missed raymond...it'll get even better when robert gets back on the show next week! comedic geniouses they are...

other premier of note: fear factor...didnt really watch most of it...seemed like...fear factor...you know...only noted it cuz i think its CRAPPY

This is just dispell rumors of me running around scantily clad during fire alarms.

first fire alarm was ok...i just got back to the res
second fire alarm was 5 minutes after my shower...so i was fully clothed, just my hair was a little wet
third fire alarm was while i was doing laundry yes, but i STILL HAD CLOTHES....i dont do laundry when i run out....
(actually my neighbor was IN the shower during this fire alarm, of course we knew this cuz we asked...he was fully clothed and all, but his hair was dripping wet!)

Oh man...so FULL...ate a whole plate of rice for lunch..and then had like this...pizza pizza meal for dinner...blah....but it was good food!
And plus I met these two Taiwanese guys who have so much pride for their country that they carry flags everywhere...even in their wallets...but they are very funny guys...hehe

but i was pretty darn tired today...stupid fire alarm went off at 2am .... stupid stupid stupid....my roomie almost slept rite thru...i even kicked his bed...he only got up when i opened the door...

so when i got to kcac this morning (kingston chinese alliance church) i was pretty tired...but i managed to stay awake during service ( due to some very welcome distractions...teehee)...good message on the Power of God...one acoustic guitarist to lead worship for a small congregation of maybe...50? but it was still very good...i'm still debating on which church to go to...cuz on one hand, Bethel does seem like a very different style...and i kinda like it...but KCAC is a place where i feel like i can serve..and plus some guy actually approached me today and told me that they needed ppl to serve..its like he knew i played an instrument already...kinda freaky...maybe its a sign?

then after churchie, a bunch of us went out to lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant....and after that, i found out that one of my new friends (steph) was deathly afraid of clowns...i just pointed out a clown that was driving in a car...and she must've shrieked like..10 times..and ran away to hide...and apparntly the clown thought it was funny too cuz he started waving and saying "hello"! hahahahha she knows what she's gonna get for her birthday....!
