Chair Ski Ride To Death

*Preface - Some of you didn't get the concept of the "fourth wall" that was critical to understanding the punch-line to yesterday's rectangle comic, so the link gives you the article listed in the most accurate encyclopedia (allegedly).

I realize this is coming out of left field, as the topic I'm about to delve into hasn't been mentioned for a minute. But I'm all for making my triumphant return to writing on the Internets with irrelevant material. It's debatable if it can be considered triumphant without trumpets trumpeting me in. Also debatable is the fact that I was never gone in the first place. I've been busy billy bee on other people's, and my own, comment section.

Neither here nor there.

I have not and probably will not watch anything from the television/movie series Jackass. Not that I'm against senseless acts at times, but in my opinion, they take it far too far.

That was awkward.

There's nothing special about the stunts pulled on Jackass. No feeling of excitement. Downright juvenile is how I would describe the things I've been hearing about. It's as if they take day to day events, such as paper cuts or drinking milk, and more or less exaggerate them to the point of self-injury. Plus, those amateurs have nothing on SUPER DAVE!

Remember him?

Check out the helmet! Check out the jumpsuit! Check out the candor and the professional courtesy provided in the interview leading up to the "big stunt"! The wit, the humor, and the slightly raspy, but oh-so-sexy-low voice!

Class act all the way. That's how a stunt is set up and carried out. Employing a twist that is ten times better than the forced twist-endings provided by current Hollywood movies. I salute you Super Dave.
